Le immagini religiose sono presenti da sempre nella mia ricerca ma in questo lavoro sono state  decontestualizzate, creando nuovi spunti, nuove visioni, nuove relazioni per cercare di ridefinire la realtà nella sua complessità.  La critica sostiene che il reale tende a scomparire nell’indifferenza provocata dall’incessante flusso di suggestioni, immagini, informazioni, narrazioni che soffocano la materialità del concreto.  Resistere a questo processo è il mio lavoro: proprio attraverso la tecnologia e la sua estrema plasticità cerco di creare frammenti di reale che abbiano una loro autonomia, un loro silenzioso percorso:  lontani dall’ assordante contesto che li circonda.  Ho inserito le icone religiose collocandole in uno spazio sospeso che suggerisce una immobilità che confligge  consapevolmente con il caos dell’ alienazione urbana.

Religious images have always been present in my research but in this work they have been decontextualized, creating new ideas, new visions, new relationships to try to redefine reality in its complexity. Critics maintain that the real tends to disappear into the indifference caused by the incessant flow of suggestions, images, information, narratives that stifle the materiality of the concrete. Resisting this process is my job: through technology and its extreme plasticity I try to create fragments of reality that have their own autonomy, their silent path: far from the deafening context that surrounds them. I inserted the religious icons placing them in a suspended space that suggests a stillness that consciously conflicts with the chaos of urban alienation.
